Epidural Injections for Spinal Stenosis and Sciatica

Epidural Injections for Spinal Stenosis and Sciatica

Epidural steroid injections are a common treatment option for many forms of back pain and sciatica. The goal of the injection is to provide complete pain relief without the need of rehabilitation. With the use of stem cell therapy relief can be permanent by using an x-ray guided needle and Novomax®. By inserting Novomax® along with a numbing solution directly at the site of the back pain or the sciatica the damage can be repaired and, in most cases rehabilitation is not required.

Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis is the narrowing of the bone channel occupied by the spinal nerves or the spinal cord. A condition that some people are born with but many develop spinal stenosis and feel the effects as they age.

With fluoroscope, x-ray guidance, an accurate needle can be inserted at the exact point on the spine where the damage has occurred. Novomax® will be inserted to straighten the bone channel, relieve pain and return the spine to its normal function.
